Who Can Become an FEBIS Member?

Membership of FEBIS is open to natural and legal persons as well as companies without legal personality, including:

Providers of economic information

Providers of other credit information systems

Database service providers for economic information

Industry-related software manufacturers/vendors

Collection service providers

Factoring service providers

Credit insurers

Industry associations of a related nature

Membership Requirements

To be admitted as a member of FEBIS, the following conditions are required:

Perform an activity in accordance with eligible member types

Recognize the statutes and decisions of FEBIS

Keep an orderly financial situation

4

Have a well-reputed management

5

Meet registration obligations

6

Have more than 2 years of activity (at least 2 years registered)

7

Have nationwide activity in the respective country

8

Demonstrate compliance by presenting appropriate documents

Membership Fees & Application

Membership fees are charged annually and are calculated on the basis of the turnover of the (prospective) member. Membership fees cover the period of a natural year, January to December.

All applications for membership are reviewed by the FEBIS Executive Board, whose majority support is required for an application to proceed.

FEBIS Membership does not require yearly renewals; it runs until duly notified cancellation becomes effective.

Note: The Board of Directors decides on the admission of new members. In exceptional cases, the Board may accept new members even if the 2-year activity requirement is not fulfilled.
